I was one of those lucky people who happened upon the NECA booth at Comic-Con and did a double-take. Is that NEW HEROCLIX??? I snapped up Thor's Chariot, eager to get my hands on anything new. And, I was not disappointed. The Chariot is a great looking (and big!) miniature, with excellent detail on the vehicle, goats, and Thor. It's a lot of fun to play as well, and will be even better leading an army of Asgardians coming out in the upcoming Hammer of Thor set. In case you parents were wondering, this thing (The Flood) is the major reason why most of the Halo franchise is rated "M" for "Mature".

I gotta say.. this figure here is impressive, yes it has its flaws, the wrists are fragile and it's really not for playing with like a kid would. the posing is acceptable and while not super fluid, can give you some pretty nice stances.

the plasma rifles and hands dont fit as well as the design would make you think, but this isn't a major problem if you don't mess with it alot.

detail is wonderful and truly a treat even for the mild fan of halo. im an artist my self so this comes in handy when wanting to draw the elite armor or something similar.. there is no leg hole for holding weapon, its a miss print on the box. but the hole in the back is to deep for the peg you stick in it..my elite fell over on its back and jammed the peg so far in its impossible to retreave.

other then that.. nice.. worth the money.. i would get a few more just for fun if i had the cash to. Get more detail about Halo 3 Series 3 - Elite Combat Soldier.

I just picked this up for my Prime collection, but it seriously pisses me off they market these as kid friendly. All the springs and lack of firmly locking tabs make it want to spring apart the entire time you handle it. My five-year-old is into knights, big time, and wanted a knight-themed birthday party. Unfortunately, there aren't that many products for knight parties, so we got creative. His aunt made a castle cake using a mold, and we topped it with these cute little knights and dragon. We also bought a bunch of foam swords and played blindfolded sword fighting. Each kid got to take home a cake knight and a foam sword, and it was fantastic!
