If you are not familiar with Fisher Price's line of shake n go cars, these are great toys for preschool aged kids. my 3 yo first got some of these maybe last year and has expanded his collection to include 2 Shake N Go race tracks and numerous cars.
Basically, you shake the vehicle, put it on the ground and it races off across the floor. The superman car also has sounds and says things like "Faster! More Powerful!" as it races off.
The car is durable, has endured multiple crashes with no visible signs of wear and tear, and the batteries last pretty long considering the amount of use we've given it.

I really needed to get The Fallen for my TF collection. One of things that disappointed me even before I bought this figure was the fact that the ROTF toyline doesn't have any Ultra Class figures. Ideally, the Fallen should be bigger than the a regular Voyager class... so either Ultra or Leader.

Kinda put off by the fact that this hands can't hold anything (gun/spear), and not really impressed by the 'solar panels' around his head and arms. Beyond that, the concept with his feet are really cool and he poses pretty well.

The transformation to the jet was one of more difficult ones I've done, but not impossible. I think the jet mode is really lame though... as some others mentioned, they made the robot and figured they had to come up with an alternate mode and just force-fitted the alien destroyer mode. It's not bad, but not great either.

O.k. for starters we have two leader class figures, three voyager class figures and three deluxe figures. We love the movie and so far had a great time getting some of the toys.

My wife was really pumped to get ironhide as he was her favorite transformer. But to her dismay the excitement died as she opened the box. For starters this is the shoddiest paintjob so far. Its just black and gray! On the box are lines of yellow and silver, I find this to be a big ripoff.

Secondly the worst part that will make me hesitant to buy anymore save the leader class figures, is how poorly this toy transforms. This guy is even worse than Skids since skids stays together! His middle wont connect properly and takes quite a bit of force to get halfway right and the top hole is too small to connect fully! Just terrible! His missle launchers wont stay on and now either a piece has fallen off, or maybe we missed it in the transformation but this guy has a giant hole in his neck! Too many smokes maybe? I picked him up and sideways and I loved how easy sideways was to connect. But now Im sore and dissapointed with Ironhide. Hopefully the next couple figures we get won't be this bad. I was wondering why poor Mudflap was in stores more than his brother Skidz - got Mudflap on sale at Walmart for cheap, bless his heart...anyway, when I got the lil Autobot home, transformed him, and tossed the directions (the pictures never help, ever). Anyway, he looks like the picture, but because the twins are so top heavy (their backs), Mudflap tends to fall over when you stand him up. And because he transforms differently than Skidz, he's not as sturdy. But I want them both together, so he ended up sitting down, while Skidz is standing up lol. It's no biggie, love the Autobots, and love Mudflap too. All and all, if you're getting it for your little one, and he doesn't mind it not standing too much, it's fine. But if you're a collector, you better get him just right when he's standing, otherwhise he'll topple over!

Long Haul is one of the later Voyager Transformers that comes out, but if you had researched well, you might have definitely heard about him months before he came out. Since Long Haul is a Voyager, he is a couple inches higher than the average deluxe figure. It is funny, however, how his vehicle mode makes him appear to be a deluxe (but there is always more than meets the eye). He has very fine flexibility with his legs and arms. Much like leader class Optimus Prime, he has pop out swords. As for his Mech Alive gimmick, he has moving pistons (that work suprisingly alot like bicep muscles) on his arms and a move gear on his chest plate that turns along with his head. Transformation may be difficult at first, but once you understand the general concept of how everything pulls out, it becomes simple. Unfortunately his size is smaller than it should be. In fact, his petite size can be slightly annoying for those who like Transformers with the same balanced measurement. And unless you don't care about his vehicle mode being nearly the size of a motorcycle Transformer (e.g. Arcee or Chromia), this shouldn't be much of a problem for you. Sadly though, I do care. I bought this ring used and it came with seven used action figures. It was in decent condition. It doesn't look as neat as in the picture because, even if you buy it new, the only way to attach the ropes is to tie them and the knots are visible. My son doesn't have any complaints about the knots. But, the ring also comes with surrounding pieces that resemble the mats on the outside of the ring and those do not work at all. The company should re-design them to make them fit better to stay without constantly coming unattached. Other than that, it was a good price for the ring. This toy was very fun accept for the fact it was not very movable. The head can move side to side. Its arms can move up and down and its legs can just barley move back and forth. When I received it in the male I tried to twist the hands and one of them broke off. Then attempting to hold the gun with the broken hand, the trigger broke off as well. Back when I was a kid, I LOVED my collection of Transformers. Truth be told, many of them are probably still squirreled away somewhere in my mom's basement (she has a problem getting rid of stuff...). After seeing the first movie, I was determined to start collecting the new series. Unfortunately, with four kids of my own, a rather hefty pricetag on the new models, and mediocre reviews on them, I thought twice. But when I saw this one when I was walking through my local discount store the other day (and for slightly less than it's being sold here), I just had to have it.

While the new models aren't the heavy duty diet cast metal I remember from childhood, this Bumblebee seems to be rather solidly built (and, let's face it, those older models were probably covered in lead-based paint!). I like how the two modes have snap-in parts to keep the robot in robot mode and the car in car mode without them falling apart. I'll admit, I had to look at the instructions to get the transformation complete, but I still got in on the first try.

This is a very good facsimile, I would say about 95% screen accurate. I am a professional Prop Maker, so I am very picky about my Props. The controls on the original are a little different, but not so the average person would notice. for the price and what it does, it is a beautiful piece of work. A definite yes buy for the avid collector. Mind you it is plastic but if you are careful with it, it will last a very long time. From the awesome new Halloween '09 DVD and Blu-Ray release, "Trick 'r Treat" comes the very spirit of Halloween himself, the goblin "Sam", apparent keeper of the traditions of Halloween. You don't want him to catch you blowing out a jack o' lantern's light, holding back on treats, or just plain ruining the celebration for anyone. Sam isn't all together bad. Follow the rules and give him his treat, and he'll leave you alone. I actually think he's a pretty cute kid, and Trick 'r Treat is just an AWESOME movie. Once you see it, you'll want this figure. Now, they just need to make a figure of Anna Paquin in her Red Riding Hood getup, and one of Fido from the film "Fido", another great one.

Anyway, this Sam figure is gorgeously made. Highly detailed from the folks at Neca. The one I bought today was the only one (that I saw) at the store I was shopping in, and I didn't notice till I got him home that he had a production flaw on his chest. Luckily, it blends in fine with Sam's grungy outfit as long as you don't examine it really closely. Had I seen it first, I might have bought him anyway, as this figure is a must have. The detailing is beautiful, and Sam comes with two Jack O' Lanterns (one spouting flame), his deadly lollipop, gory treat bag, and tainted candy bar with the razor blade sticking out. He also comes with an alternate head (his real, mask-free face, which sort of looks like a cross between an alien grey and a jack o' lantern). Oh, and I almost forgot, Sam also comes with a piece of ground to stand on, though I can't really get the pegs all the way in, but close enough that it looks good. I see folks aren't thrilled about his limited articulation (wrists, head, elbows and one shoulder), but these Neca figures are for display not play, and I can forgive limited poseability. I collect the Neca Pirates of the Caribbean figures too (my kingdom for a Davy Jones...) as well as their "A Christmas Story" line, but aside from the paint/plastic flaw on my own Sam here, I think this is the most impressive piece I've gotten from them so far. Though, I do love my big, talking Hermione figure. Highly recommended for fans of "Trick 'r Treat" or just the spirit of Halloween in general! When I first saw Breakaway in the stores, before ROTF release, I decided I needed to get him. Even though I knew he wasn't in the movie, I collect TF planes and the fact that he had a F-35 JSF mode made me all the more eager to get my hands on him.

In plane mode, he is amazing! Good, accurate details... I can't ask for more in Deluxe class toy. Had this been a Voyager, you'd expect a firing projectile and stuff. But as a JSF model, this is classy and very realistic looking. The paint job/ camaflouge is ok too... can live with that.

Unfortunately, that's where the good stuff ends.

Had a little trouble tranforming to robot mode, but once I did.... I was massively disappointed at how small his head is. His face/head is pretty much a "pilot's helmet" inside the cockpit. While it looks normal in the pictures, in reality... the head is the same size as a Legends class toy!!! Add in the fact that his head is a same height as his shoulders (instead of above), giving him a hunched-back look. The latter I can live with too, but not the tiny face/head. Plus the cockpit glass keeps getting in the way, so from a distance, you can't really see his face.

The other complaint I have is that Hasbro didn't need to give him feet with four 'toes'. In robot mode, it looks funny. In jet mode, they look really weird when they're tucked away at the bottom of the fuselage. What was wrong with plain, rectangular feet?

All in all, I'm a bit disappointed. And the Mech-Alive feature isn't too great either! I'm just going to keep him in plane mode mostly.

I got this at target for my grandson because he was waiting for a month to get it to use on his AT-TE. He says that the troopers are awesome and thinks that the standard clone troops look like green company troops fron the clone wars episode cloak of darkness and that the gunner kind of looks like a clone pilot. My 4.5 yo son has several of the trick track components. The loop works well if you're using a lightweight regular-size car (heavier or longer cars fall out). The claw that is supposed to raise up and drop the car does not really work. It's very difficult (for me, let alone my son!!) to get the car balanced in the claw just right - the claw comes open too easily. Then if you get it so it holds the car, it won't come open when it's triggered at the top of it's lift... so we tap it a little to let the car go and trigger the next event. My son loves all things mechanical (and all things hot wheels), so he was disappointed that this element didn't work well. We also have the Spiral Spin-Out - this is sometimes hard to get the part that holds the cars to stay up until it's triggered (there are arrows to line up, but when it's weighted down w/ two cars it doesn't always "stick" when you put it up).

Overall, the trick tracks are pretty entertaining for a car-crazy kid. After almost a year of owning these things, my son still pulls them out to set up and play - he just skips the claw and if he uses the spiral spin out he has to ask me for help! All the sets come w/ spare rubber bands, but none of ours have worn out or snapped yet. Don't set your hopes to high for these things - it's just junky plastic after all, but good enough for the kids!! The dinosaurs are pretty big and the container is great for storage, however I have one beef with it. I noticed the picture on the tub was inaccurate. He has these weird razor things for weapons that look about as effective as a rusty pair of safety scissors. His legs are puny and afford him precious little stability. Furthermore, he lacks cohesiveness as an overall robot. In other words it appears that Hasbro decided to slap him together with mismatched parts and just crazy-glue him together.
