My understanding is that the wheels are supposed to roll freely, but on the unit I received one of them is frozen solid. Maybe it was improperly glued. Nothing I can do will free it up. The arms can be pulled off, but then you can pop them right back on. The kids like it otherwise, although after ~10 minutes the sounds drive everyone a little crazy.
